David Chase and Terrence Winter are keen to do a follow-up to next month’s “The Many Saints of Newark”. Says Chase, “That would be interesting to do, and there’s a lot of stories that exist already because of the mythology, and working with Terry would be great. He and I in that world again, I think we’d have a good time. I wouldn’t do it on my own, and I would not do it with anybody else. If Warners wanted it, they own it, they can do whatever they want.” Adds Winter, “David and I have kicked around just how many stories there are that precede the TV series, and the idea of doing a sequel, if it comes to that, would be really great fun. Australian actor Travis Fimmel is reportedly in the mix to star as the villain in MGM’s “Dark Harvest”, based on the Halloween horror novel written by Norman Partridge and published in 2006. Casey Likes and E’myri Crutchfield are already a lock for the film, which is set in 1962 and 1963 and tells the tale of a strange ritual that takes place on Halloween every year in a small, rural Midwestern town, The Run.
