Brittany Snow is Pitch Perfect

Earlier this month, it was revealed that “Twilight” alum and “50/50” star Anna Kendrick would be starring in an a capella singing film entitled “Pitch Perfect” along with “Bridesmaids” star Rebel Wilson.

THR now reports that Brittany Snow (TV’s “Harry’s Law”) has signed on to also star in the film.

The film tells the the story of an all-girls college a cappella group trying to rebuild with a shaky rookie in the lead so they can take on the all-guys championship team. Snow will play Chloe, a somewhat rigid personality who finds her spot in the group.

Riveting.

Kay Cannon adapted the screenplay from the nonfiction book written by GQ‘s Mickey Rapkin. Jason Moore, who’s directed a few TV episodes on shows like “Dawson’s Creek”, “One Tree Hill” and “Brothers and Sisters” will direct the film, marking his feature film debut.

Filming is scheduled to begin mid-October in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
