Carry On Vinnie

“X-Men 3” star headlining another sequel?

Former footballer, and new “X-Men” recruit, Vinnie Jones, is set to star in the next “Carry On” comedy.

According to BBC News, Jones will play a nightclub owner and gangster in “Carry on London”, which focuses on a limousine company – Lenny’s Limos – which takes celebrities to a lampoon of the Oscars ceremony known as the Herberts.

“It really kept me laughing through my youth so it’s great news that I’m part of that tradition and able to introduce it to my own kids”, says Jones.

Peter Richardson will direct the film, which was originally set to get off the ground in 2003, but halted due to fiscal reasons.

The movie will co-star Shane Richie (“Flushed Away”) and model, Victoria Silvstedt.
