Dakota Fanning (“The Twilight Saga : Eclipse”) has joined the cast of “American Pastoral” with Ewan McGregor and Jennifer Connelly. Fanning will play the pivotal role of “Merry Levov,” the daughter of McGregor’s “Swede Levov” and Connelly’s “Dawn.” “The role of ‘Merry’ is an extremely complex part, and I believe that Dakota Fanning will break our hearts with her performance,” stated Lakeshore President, Gary Lucchesi.
Eric Bana, Theo James and Jack Reynor have boarded “The Secret Scripture”, the film adaptation of Sebastian Barry’s 2008 novel. Rooney Mara, Jeremy Irons and Vanessa Redgrave are already onboard. (Variety)
