Maribeth Monroe (“Workaholics”) and Matt Walsh (“Veep”) have boarded the Fox comedy for director Greg Mottola (“Superbad”). The film, also starring Zach Galifianakis, Jon Hamm, Isla Fisher and Gal Gadot, centers on a suburban couple who become suspicious of their attractive, seemingly perfect neighbors, who turn out to be undercover agents. Shia LaBeouf will star in Andrea Arnold’s indie. The script, written by Arnold, centers on a teen who joins a magazine sales crew and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard partying, law bending and young love. (The Hollywood Reporter)
C Street
Dylan Walsh (“Nip/Tuck”) has joined indie political drama “C Street”. The film follows a power-hungry intern who converts his apartment into a kind of no-tell motel for politicians, with a plan to control politics through sex. Everything changes when he finds his dream girl naked in his bed — waiting for his boss. “Walsh will play the boss, Senator Fallon, a gladhander and backstabber who pulls the strings.” (Deadline)
Deadpool
“Transporter Refueled” director Ed Skrein is playing Ajax, one of the characters responsible for turning Wade Wilson into Deadpool, in the upcoming movie. Tim Miller is directing the movie, which opens February 2016. (Ed Skrein)
