Casting : Madsen, Glover, Jones, Theron, De Niro, Cooper

“American Bullshit”

Bradley Cooper may join Christian Bale in director David O’Russell’s new film. The movie, which will undergo a title tweak, is “about a 1970s and ’80s FBI sting called Abscam, which busted a bunch of shady congressmen.” (Vulture)

“Agent 13”

Charlize Theron will star in director Rupert Wyatt’s science-fiction film about… well, we dunno. No details available. (Variety)

“Las Vegas”

Robert De Niro may join Michael Douglas (and possibly Christopher Walken, who is eyeing the third role) in the CBS Films comedy from “National Treasure” director Jon Turtletaub. “We hear that De Niro and Douglas would play oldsters who both fall for the same “girl.” The film, to be directed by Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure), is essentially The Hangover for the olds — four men of a certain age gather in Vegas for a bachelor party.” (Vulture)

“Infected”

Danny Glover and Vinnie Jones have joined the cast of the new viral thriller from writer-director Jason Dudek. Taylor Handley, Margo Harshman, Beverly Mitchell, Tiffany Hines, Ryan Pinkston and Leebo Freeman also feature in the film, which tells of what happens when “a corrupt pharmaceutical company unleashes a deadly virus on a remote farm, an ex-Marine and his friends become its unwitting test subjects. Now they must race to stop it before the infection spreads.” (STYD)

“Sin City : A Dame to Kill For”

Michael Madsen says he’ll be back as Bob, Bruce Willis’s corrupt partner, in the “Sin City” sequel. ”I’m going to Ft. Worth, Texas, and there is supposed to be some sort of a symposium or some Sin City panel where we’re going to talk about the film. I’m looking forward to that, too.” (Smashing Interviews)
