Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan will be back under the direction of Breck Eisner, the helmer now locked in to direct “Karate Kid 2”.
Eisner will take the place of Harald Zwart, who directed the first reboot in 2010. That film groseed $343 million at the worldwide box office.
The original “Karate Kid” pic was released in 1984 and went on to receive a second and third instalment.
Eisner is also attached to helm Vin Diesel fantasy-actioner “The Last Witch Hunter”.
