He mightn’t have had much luck with "The Fantastic Four" flick – though little of it has to do with him – but Marvel obviously has faith in Director Chris Columbus.
According to Variety, the "Harry Potter" director has been signed to direct the film adaptation of the comic "Sub-Mariner", which The Rock is rumoured to be headlining.
Marvel and Universal Pictures have the film locked in for a release in 2006.
Meanwhile, another comic to film "Deathlok" is in the works at Paramount, says the trade, and it’s currently going out to Directors.
