Miramax and Broad Green Pictures today announced Christina Hendricks for “Bad Santa 2”.
The “Mad Men” alum will play Diane, a woman who runs a charity and turns Billy Bob Thornton’s Willie T. Stokes to jelly.
Lauren Graham, who played the love interest in the original film, isn’t reprising her role in the Mark Waters directed sequel.
Kathy Bates is also boarding, playing Thornton’s mother (despite only being seven years older) while Tony Cox returns as Stoke’s partner-in-crime Marcus, and Brett Kelly is back as The Kid.
“Bad Santa 2” was scripted by “Entourage” alum Doug Ellin, Shauna Cross (”Whip It”) and Johnny Rosenthal.
