“Harry Potter”-verse alum Alonso Cuaron is apparently yakking to Warners about returning to the world of magic trains and decrepit headmasters. According to this tweet from Nikki Finke, he may end up directing the first of the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movies – the spin-offs set many, many years before the “Potter” story.
I hear Alfonso Cuaron (‘Gravity’, ‘HP/Azkaban’) deep in talks to direct JK Rowling’s Harry Potter spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts’. Perfect pick.
The first in the proposed trilogy of “Beasts” movies hits November 2016.
