Dax Shepard joins The Judge

Dax Shepard (“Parenthood”) is set to join “Iron Man” superstar Robert Downey Jr. in “The Judge”.

The flick also features Vincent D’Onofrio (“Law and Order: Criminal Intent”), Robert Duvall, and Vera Farmiga (“The Departed”) – also announced this past 24 hours.

Deadline reminds us that the film is about a lawyer who returns home after his mother’s death only to learn that his estranged father, the town’s judge (Robert Duvall), is suspected of murder.

Shepard most recently appeared in his own effort, “Hit and Run”.
