De Niro signs for Fockers

Second sequel to the hit comedy, “Meet the Parents”

It wouldn’t be a Fockin’ movie without Robert De Niro, wouldn’t it?
Thankfully, Universal have pulled the truck up the back of his ranch, dump a load of cash on the driveway, and left a contract for a third “Meet the Parents” movie pinned to his letterbox.

Seems he signed it.

According to Variety, “Little Fockers” (previously thought to be called “Meet the Little Focker”) will again star Ben Stiller and Teri Polo, with De Niro and Blythe Danner reprising their roles as her parents.

Surprisingly – if only because it took more than a chinese burn to get them to commit to “Meet the Fockers” – Dustin Hoffman and Barbara Streisand are also in talks to return.

Larry Stuckey, Jay Roach’s former assistant, is apparently writing the script… which one can assume, centres on the offspring of Stiller and Polo’s characters.
