The Wolfman is returning to prime time.
NBC is bringing back the classic Universal Monster for a new prime-time series, being developed by Dan Knauf (“Dracula”).
Deadline says the series will be largely based on the 2010 film, starring Benicio Del Toro.
A sequel to the Del Toro film was being developed by Universal’s home entertainment division last year, ultimately the film was released as a stand-alone feature called “Werewolf : The Beast Among Us”.
