Of course Iron Man and Spider-Man will first appear on screen together in Marvels’ upcoming “Captain America: Civil War”.

The news comes on the same day THR’s Borys Kit has revealed Michael Keaton – who was in talks to play the villain in the film – will not appear.

“Talks never got past the offer stage,” he Tweeted.

Jon Watts is directing “Spider-Man Homecoming” which stars Tom Holland in the titular role with Marisa Tomei on board to play Aunt May, with Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori and Zendaya. Michael Keaton is also in talks to play the villain.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein penned the script, with the film set to open on July 7, 2017.
