Peter Berg may helm science-fiction movie
Peter Berg is a wacky fella. Serious filmmaker, sure – “The Kingdom” was great stuff, was it not? – but still, a wacky fella. Which makes him more than suitable to helm the new “Dune” – remember the David Lynch clunker from the early 80s? – movie, in my opinion.
Aint it Cool says that’s who the Herbert estate is eyeing to do the new film version of the classic – some say unfilmable – science-fiction series; last done as a poorly-received mini series. They go on to say Paramount is likely to give the film a home.
