Its a god damn “High School Musical” reunion!
My worst fuckin’nightmare…
One of the biggest guilty pleasures of the 80s, “Footloose” – and, for what its worth, a classic that shouldn’t be tussled with – being remade with a frickin’ Disney stable mate. Since I’m not about wasting web pages, the nightmare has of course come true.
Zac Efron, of “High School Musical” fame, will take over for Kevin Bacon in a sequel to the 1984 cheeseball classic “Footloose”. Kenny Ortega, who directed Efron in the former, will reunite with him on the project.
The plan this time is to turn the film into a full-blown musical.
Sheesh.
