Esposito signs up for Poker Night

Indie thriller “Poker Night” is set to have Giancarlo Esposito come to the table as Detective A.J. Bernard, according to Deadline.com.

“Poker Night” tells the tale of a young cop who finds himself tracked by a serial killer; only the stories and tall tales he hears at the poker table he regularly frequents with veterans like Bernard contain the clues that will help him survive.

Greg Francis will direct the film, which will also feature Ron Perlman, Titus Welliver, Ron Eldard and Beau Mirchoff. Corey Lange and Alan Pao are producing.

Esposito is known for his Emmy-Nominated role as soft-spoken meth drug lord Gus Fring on hit television series “Breaking Bad”; he is also currently starring as militia Major Tom Neville on NBC’s “Revolution”.
