Gerard Butler is circling the Derek Kolstand (“Nobody”) scripted film adaptation of author Jim Lindsay’s “Just Watch Me”.
The first in the Riley Wolfe book series, “Just Watch Me” follows Wolfe, ”a master thief and expert in disguise who targets the wealthiest 0.1 percent. The likeable bad guy teams up with a master forger named Monique and a team of expert thieves on a job that will make history. Producers are aiming to shoot the film in Q4, 2022.” [More…]

A Holly Hunter starring biopic on Anna Nicole Smith is in the works with sales expected to kick off at EFM. “Hurricana” will chart how ”in an attempt to save Smith’s life, her devoted therapist, Khristine (Hunter), embarks on a 36-hour odyssey in which she unknowingly delivers the fatal blow. Producers describe the project as exploring the “immense hurricane-like force that was Anna Nicole Smith, and the fateful string of events that led Anna to destroy everything in her path, including herself and those closest to her.” Betty Gilpin has been in discussions to play the title role.
