First cast photo of Suicide Squad

David Ayer has released the first cast photo of “Suicide Squad”, the ‘Batman’ spin-off film he’s making based on the DC Comics series of the same name. The film stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller – and they’re all in the photo. Notably absent was Jared Leto, who plays The Joker, but he’s apparently on tour so couldn’t make the read-through. Two new cast members were outed in the photo, “Cowboys & Aliens” star Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz (“The Mindy Project”).
