First look at Ben Foster as Lance Armstrong

Filming began recently on director Stephen Frear’s untitled Lance Armstrong bio.

The movie, which chronicles the sportsman’s rise to the top, his battle with cancer, and his ultimate downfall (the result of being exposed as a user of performance-enhancing drugs by a journalist), stars Ben Foster (“3 :10 to Yuma”, “Hostage”) in the lead role.

Chris O’Dowd, Jesse Plemmons, and Guillaume Canet are also in the film.

Empire Online premiered the first pic of Foster as Armstrong today.
