First Look at Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in The Lone Ranger

Thursday morning was indeed a good morning for fans of “The Lone Ranger”. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer took to his Twitter account last night and said that’d he have “something big ready1st thing in the morning”. Lo and behold, that something was our first look at Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer in Gore Verbinski’s “The Lone Ranger” as their characters Tonto and The Lone Ranger.

Though “The Lone Ranger” faced some budget troubles back in August, the film has since gotten back on track and began filming in New Mexico this past February.

“The Lone Ranger” features an all-star cast with Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as John Reid, the Lone Ranger. “The Lone Ranger” is a thrilling action adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The film is slated for a May 31, 2013 release.

Helena Bonham Carter, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson, William Fitchner and Tom Wilkinson also star in the film. Be sure to click on the photo above to see it full-sized.
