Time to start singing “Here come the men in black…the galaxy defenders…” … or at least, Sony hopes you will.
Columbia Pictures has released the first trailer for the Barry Sonnenfeld directed “Men in Black 3”, set to hit theaters on May 25 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are back, this time joined by Josh Brolin, Emma Thompson and Jemaine Clement.
Guessing that pug dog is back, too!?
With a script by Etan Cohen, here’s the film’s synopsis:
In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back… in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K’s life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him — secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.
I have to say, Brolin looks like he pulls off a younger Tommy Lee just fine & Smith is his usual funny, charming self in the role of J. This does make me want to go on the MIB ride again though…
