After teasing us with a poster that looks like 1979’s “Alien” and some footage that also stunk of Ripleyisms, 20th Century Fox has finally released an equally Alien-ish teaser for Ridley Scott’s “Prometheus”.
Will be interested in getting Clint’s thoughts on this, since he’s the die-hard “Alien” quadrillogy fan around these parts of the ‘hole.
Starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce, “Prometheus” follows a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery. And yes, it’s an “Alien” prequel, without flat-out designating itself one.
