The Flash movie sets Kiersey Clemons as female lead

Kiersey Clemons (“Dope”) will play Iris West in Warner Bro’s “The Flash” movie, reports Variety.

While the studio hasn’t confirmed, the outlet reports Clemons has nabbed the role of Iris West, the tough-as-nails journalist and friend of Barry Allen (aka The Flash), played by Ezra Miller.

Rick Famuyiwa is directing the film from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith, who was originally on board to helm before dropping out due to creative differences. The screenplay is is based on a treatment by Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
