Fuqua set for The Street, Stahelski goes Analog

“Equalizer” director Antoine Fuqua is set to direct “The Street” for Tooley Entertainment, eOne and Pressman Films.

Based on a script by “Goodfellas” writer Nicholas Pileggi, “The Street” is described as a “thriller set against the backdrops of New York and Shanghai.”

Fuqua’s next film is “The Equalizer 2″, due July 20.

Meantime, ”John Wick” director Chad Stahelski and Ryan Condal, the creator of USA’s alien invasion series ”Colony”, are teaming to adapt the sci-fi comic ”Analog”.

Universal has picked up the title, which Condal will pen and Stahelski will direct.

”Analog” is set in the near-future where the security of the internet has been rendered useless thanks to an event referred to as the Great Doxxing. Out of those ashes, people turn to so-called Ledger Men, agents who carry sensitive secrets the old-fashioned way — with a briefcase handcuffed to one arm and a gun held in the other.

First issue of the comic was released in April.
