Gods! Really!? Third Clash of the Titans in the works at Warner Bros

A vote of confidence to “Wrath of the Titans”, Warner’s “Clash of the Titans” sequel, with the studio announcing today that they’ve already got plans for a third film in the swords n’ sandals franchise.

Sam Worthington would kilt-up for a third time in a film that WB has tapped Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson, who co-wrote ”Wrath”’s screenplay with Steven Knight and also share story credit with Greg Berlanti, to write.

The Hollywood Reporter says the next film may reserve more screen-time for Agenor, “a sidekick-like character played by Toby Kebbell” because “the second movie leaves the door open for the character’s return.”

“Wrath of the Titans” isn’t opening until March 2012 so obviously the final yay or nay on a third film won’t happen until then – or the week after it debuts.

Joel Edgerton may star in 300 sequel
