Oscar winner Whoopi Goldberg had an update on Sister Act 3 today for viewers of The View.
“You know we’re still going to do that movie,” Goldberg told her Sister Act co-star Jennifer Lewis on the show. “And I’d do everything I can to work with her because she’s fun.”
The film, which the two are seemingly excited to return for, is set up at Disney+.
In 2020, Disney let rip that they’d set Tim Federle to direct the new film with Madhuri Shekar scripting.
A second sequel to ’90s hit Sister Act is just one of several legacy sequels in the works at the house of Mouse’s streaming platform.
