Golden Globe Awards 2018 full list of winners

The #metoo campaign may have echoed louder through the auditorium than any nominee’s marketing campaign nonetheless when it came to winners, there were some well deserved guys and gals yielding shiny statues by the end of the night. Standouts on the winners bill included Gary Oldman, for his chameleon-like performance as Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour”, Nicole Kidman, for her turn on telly’s “Big Little Lies”, Best director Guillermo del Toro for “The Shape of Water”, Best film “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” and Saoirse Ronan, who snared welcome acknowledgement for her memorable performance in “Ladybird”. There were some surprises on the night,  predominantly James Franco’s one-upping of Hugh Jackman, for best male performance in a comedy or musical, but nonetheless deserved wins.
