Halloween, Final Destination Producers team for Stuck

Filming will commence in April on “Stuck”, a new horror feature from “Halloween” producer – and son of the late, Moustapha Akkad – Malek Akkad.

Dwayne Alexander Smith’s script fixes on Jane, a young woman, working at an investment firm, who finds a huge discrepancy in the books shortly after the sudden, shocking death of a co-worker. Jane works out what is going on, but as a consequence has placed herself in great danger. She’s now become a target of Frank, a charming, meticulously-perfect killer-for-hire, who has arrived to clean up the mess. It’s up to Jane to get out of the building before it’s too late.

The four-week shoot, kicking off in L.A, will be shepherded by veteran horror producer Warren Zide (“Final Destination”). Akkad and his Trancas International Films partner Louis Nader also serve as producers.

Akkad has been involved in every “Halloween” film since 1988’s “Halloween 4 : The Return of Michael Myers”.
