Jason Sudeikis, the “SNL” alum who has gone onto become quite somewhat of a laffer fave on the big screen thanks to his participation in funny fare like “Hall Pass” and “Horrible Bosses”, has been roped into Jay ‘Meet the Parents’ Roach’s latest, “Dog Fight”. This is the presidential opponent comedy starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis as rival candidates in a small congressional district in South Carolina, which begins filming in November in New Orleans.
In addition to Sudeikis, whose role has not yet been disclosed, THR says “Dog Fight” has also employed Sarah Baker and Katherine LaNasa for supporting roles.
It’s been quite a while since Jay Roach made anything good, you think “Dog Fight” will be a return to form for him – even if Sudeikis, Ferrell and Galafianakis have to carry most of the load?
