How appropriate! The Martian actress joins Blade Runner 2!

Mackenzie Davis (”The Martian”, ”That Awkward Moment”) is joining Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling in the highly-anticipated “Blade Runner” sequel.

Robin Wright, Dave Bautista and Carla Juri are also onboard the film, which begins filming in July under the direction of Denis Villenueve.

Though no details have been revealed on Davis’s character, let alone any of the film’s plot, it’s believe the film picks up in real-time – several decades after the events of the 1982 film.
