The first official Hunger Games promotional poster has finally hit the Internet, revealing a simple but iconic image of Katniss’ famous gold mockingjay pin on a black background, featuring the tagline ‘May The Odds Be Ever In Your Favour’.
The tagline itself is taken directly from the novel, as the catchphrase District 12’s Capitol, the ‘maniacally upbeat’ Effie Trinket, who will be played by Elizabeth Banks.
The Hunger Games is slated for release on the 22nd March 2012 in Australia, and the 23rd March 2012 worldwide.
