Does lightning strike twice?
The producers of “The Hunger Games” are about to find out. Nina Jacobson and her Color Force production company have optioned another book “The Goldfinch”, with hopes to turn it into the next big… thing.
Author Donna Tartt apparently yields quite a bit of sway, say-how and power here; she can dictate whether the book should become a film or TV series. Last year, it was revealed that ICM, who reps Tartt, was shopping “Goldfinch” to TV studios as a possible mini-series, suggesting Tartt might be keener to bring her story to a smaller screen.
