I heard Red Sonja just got hotter?

When it was announced that Rose McGowan would no longer be playing the cloth-covered title character in “Red Sonja” (which Robert Rodriguez planned to direct), because the project had been canned, many a pair-of-jeans deflated.

There’s good news though kids – Empire spoke to producer Avi Lerner who declared that not only is the project (a reboot of the 1985 flick with Brigittie Nielsen) alive and well, with Simon ‘Con-Air’ West directing, but someone who would undoubtedly wear the shag well is the frontrunner to play the the Barbarianness……..
