Jason Momoa might remain on as Aquaman, DC’s Peter Safran hinted today.
When asked whether Aquaman will return to the screen and look like the Fast X actor, Momoa said : “Jason always saw Aquaman as a trilogy.”
Sadly, if the actor does reprise the role for a future sequel, he won’t get to play his dream role of Lobo.
Co-chair James Gunn added, “I will say we won’t have an actor playing two different roles.”
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is believed to led directly into the new DCU slate so we’ll have a better idea of what Gunn and Safran are hinting at then.
