Caffeinated Clint
Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis (Hey! Stay with Me!) will star in a new political satire set to unspool, not by chance, around the time of the Presidential Election in 2012, according to Deadline.
The untitled film will be directed by Jay Roach (meh), produced by Adam McKay (yeah, OK… this is getting better), and written by Chris Henchy, the co-writer of ”The Other Guys”, and Shawn Harwell, best known for his work on HBO’s ”Eastbound & Down” (hell yeah!). Ferrell and McKay will also wear producer hats in exchange for an extra bag of money.
The film, which Warner Bros has snagged the rights to, will star Ferrell (no stranger to playing political figures) and Galifianakis as rival political candidates. Laughs will – we assume? – ensue.
