James Gunn trying to do Knight Rider movie

James Gunn has quietly been toying with a “Knight Rider” feature film, the “Suicide Squad” director revealed on Twitter.

Gunn proposed a film that would involve original Michael Knight, David Hassehloff. Hasselhoff worked with Gunn on “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2”.

“My friend [David Hasselhoff] and I have discussed doing a modern continuation of Knight Rider many times. The primary hurdle has been there aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the cool things I want to do!”

There have been numerous attempts to bring “Knight Rider” to the big screen; at one stage the Weinstein’s were hoping to add a film version to their filmography.
