Jared Leto in talks to play serial killer

Jared Leto is reportedly in talks with Warner Bros to play a serial killer in “The Little Things”, alongside Denzel Washington and Rami Malek.

John Lee Hancock is writing and directing the flick. Per Variety, The story follows a burned-out Kern County, Calif. deputy sheriff named Deke (Washington) who teams with Baxter, a crack LASD detective (Malek), to reel in a wily serial killer. Deke’s nose for the “little things” proves eerily accurate, but his willingness to circumvent the rules embroils Baxter in a soul-shattering dilemma. Meanwhile, Deke must wrestle with a dark secret from his past.

Negotiations are still ongoing, but if the deal comes through then Leto will play the role of the serial killer. The flick is set to begin filming in the American fall.
