Jennifer Aniston has joined Robert De Niro in drama “The Comedian”.
Taylor Hackford is directing with production set to kick off early next year in New York.
According to Deadline, De Niro plays a toxic insult comic on the order of a Don Rickles (with whom De Niro starred in Casino). Aniston meets him at a wedding, and they develop a close relationship.
Art Linson, Jeffrey Ross and John Linson penned the script.
