The success of “We’re the Millers” this year has garnered Jennifer Aniston a few negotiating points of power.
According to Radar Online, the actress has snared a sumly $15 million to reprise her role in at least one “Millers” sequel. According to the outlet, that figure might’ve even been more had Aniston not appeared on Forbes’ recent ‘Most Overpaid Actors List’.
Obviously any actor on the list, which picks out those undeserving of their large paydays, will be met with a few groans and some cold feet from studio’s currently doing business with them. At the same time, Aniston’s “We’re the Millers” was one of the biggest comedies of the year, and being rather stupendous in the role of the stripper-cum-faux-mama, she does deserve to share in a piece of the monetary pie everyone’s been digging into.
If there was any truth to The National Enquirer‘s recent story that Aniston plans to go ‘topless’ in the sequel -topping her sexy striptease in the first movie – then she’d be in her right to ask her more money. Unfortunately (for pervs), that rumour amounted to nothing more than an outlet looking to score some pre-Holiday traffic spikes.
The sequel to “We’re the Millers”, still to be officially announced by New Line, would also likely bring back the remainder of the quartet – Jason Sudeikis, Emma Roberts and Will Poulter. One could only hope the lovely Molly C.Quinn make a reappearance as Melissa, too.
