Just as word comes in that Jennifer Lawrence is in talks to headline Darren Aronofsky’s mystery indie project, THR is reporting the star has exited “The Rosie Project”.
The outlet didn’t provide a reason for Lawrence’s departure from the project.
Richard Linklater is directing “The Rosie Project”, which adapts Graeme Simsion’s book about “a socially inept genetics professor who comes up with a scientifically sound survey to find the perfect mate. His plans go awry when he meets Rosie Jarman, who in her whirlwind manner possesses all the opposite qualities he should be looking for.”
Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber penned the script. Matt Tolmach and Michael Costigan are producing.
