J.J. Abrams Lands at Fox

Yup, you heard (errr read) it right!

According to THR, Executive Producer J.J. Abrams  has secured a pilot commitment with Fox Network for his oh-so secretive T.V. series which centers on the infamous prison “Alcatraz.” Sharing the executive producer credits will be Elizabeth Sarnoff (who will also be lead writer for the show) and Bryan Burk.

And that’s not all!

Apparently he’s throwing in some familiar faces from his previous hit show “Lost,”  although names have been conveniently forgotten.

While most of the finer details will of course remain a mystery in true Abrams fashion, the Reporter did give us a taste of the possibilities with the ever elusive logline below.

“A show about mysteries, secrets and the most infamous prison of all time: Alcatraz.”

The only thing I’m left to wonder is…

When can I watch?

Will Nicolas Cage be sent in to aide Sean Connery on the mission?

Trailer for The Fighter is online!
