John Locke left the Island for Tenessee?

“Lost” favourite Terry O’Quinn is returning to the box.

O’Quinn, who had appeared in series like “The X-Files” and “Harsh Realm” before filling the coffin of John Locke on ABC’s “Lost”, will play the villain in Marc Cherry’s new offering, “Hallelujah”.

The series is set in a Tennessee town that’s being torn apart by the “forces of good and evil” and the stranger that comes into town and helps repair things.

According to Deadline, O’Quinn will ”play Del, a local millionaire who virtually owns the town. Described as a latter-day J.R. Ewing, Del donates heavily to the local church and various charities, but under his upstanding persona is a corrupt bully who will resort to any means to get his way.”

O’Quinn was originally attached to star in the J.J Abrams produced action drama “Odd Jobs”, with fellow Lostie Michael Emerson, this year but the show didn’t get picked up to pilot.
