While the sequel is still a couple of month away from release, Lionsgate has hired director Jon M. Chu to helm a “Now You See Me” threequel.

Chu, who directed the soon-to-be-released “Now You See Me 2”, will return to helm the third installment which suggests Liongate has high hopes for the sequel.

“Now You See Me 2” stars Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg,  Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Lizzy Caplan, Daniel Radcliffe and Michael Caine and will be released on June 10.
