Jovovich, Bautista to star in adaptation of George R.R Martin’s Lost Lands

Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista have inked a deal to star in a big-screen adaptation of  George R.R. Martin’s short story, “In the Lost Lands”.

Mr. Jovovich, Paul W.S Anderson is directing the flick, which will be offered to buyers at the upcoming EFM.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “In The Lost Lands” will see a queen, desperate to fulfill her love, hire a sorceress, Alys (played by Jovovich). Sent to the ghostly wilderness of the Lost Lands, Alys and her guide, the drifter Boyce (Bautista), must outwit and outfight man and demon in this fable that explores the nature of good and evil, debt and fulfillment, love and loss.

Anderson and Jovovich’s most recent collaboration, “Monster Hunter” was released last December. Though it received mixed to negative reviews, the film still garnered $29.2 million worldwide.
