Judd Apatow is set to direct Universal’s comedy “Train Wreck”.
The film will star Amy Schumer, however details of the plot are not yet known.
Apatow was originally on board just to produce, which he will still do through his Apatow Productions banner, however it has now been announced that he will direct the flick as well.
Schumer, known from her Comedy Central show “Inside Amy Schumer”, is writing the script.
Apatow most recently directed “This is 40”. He’s also brought us comedy hits such as “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up”.
