Jumanji player now playing Monopoly

Kevin Hart is circling a spot on Lionsgate’s “Monopoly” board.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the “Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle’ star is is in talks to reunite with his “Ride Along” director Tim Story on the long-gestating feature film take on the Hasbro game.

The project, in the works for eons (Ridley Scott was even circling it at one stage), reportedly boasted a script at one stage that would tell the story of a woman and her young son who use a time-traveling house to rewrite their own family history and stop a corrupt businessman in the process.  No word if this is the version Hart is starring in.

In addition to Hart and Story, the film would reunite a couple of others : The actor, also one of the producers on the film,  would reunite with Lionsgate  – who housed his comedy concert film “Kevin Hart : Let Me Explain” – on the project.
