That long-gestating film adaptation of DC’s “Justice League Dark”, which Guillermo Del Toro was attached to helm?
It might now be an animated film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a bonus feature called “A Sneak Peak at Justice League Dark” appears on Warner Animation’s upcoming BD release of “Batman : The Killing Joke” – out next month. Having not seen the bonus feature itself, the trade can only speculate – but they’re presuming that this might be somewhat of an announcement or preview of the same film Del Toro was tinkering with doing for the company.. only now in animated form. If it is, John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna and the rest of the team will likely premiere in movie form in our loungerooms sometime next year.
