Which Justice League hero will be in Suicide Squad?

Warner Bros has added a member of the Justice League to its roll of heroes (or rather, anti-heroes) set to appear in next month’s “Suicide Squad”.

Apparently Ezra Miller’s The Flash is set to appear in the film, though the how and why of the character’s involvement isn’t known.

We’re also not sure when The Flash’s scenes were shot. Director David Ayer re-shot several scenes earlier this year.

Rumour has long had it that Ben Affleck’s Batman is also set to appear in “Suicide Squad”, with a brief glimpse of the character in the film’s trailers. However Affleck’s name doesn’t appear in the press notes of the film, so his involvement also remains a mystery.

Should Miller and Affleck appear in the film, they’ll do so alongside stars Will Smith, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach, Viola Davis and Jared Leto.

“Suicide Squad” is due to open in US cinemas on August 5, and on August 4 Down Under.
