Kevin Spacey producing Grand Turismo movie

With adaptations pretty much the biggest thing in Hollywood since…well…ever, filmmakers are no doubt keen to adapt anything these days – books, comics and even video games.

“Gran Turismo” is the latest franchise to find itself preparing for a silver-screen debut, and THR has reports that “Watchmen” writer Alex Tse has signed on to adapt the game for cinematic release.

A fast-paced racing game, “Gran Turismo” is one of Sony’s biggest franchises for its Playstation console, with total sales in the $60-$70 million range. However, details of the filmic version of the game are currently being kept tightly under lock-and-key.

Michael De Luca, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti are slated to produce.
